  • What states does Valtio support for daycare enrollment?
    Currently, Valtio supports early childhood care providers in Massachusetts. We'll be supporting new states every month, so check the list often! Would you like to see your state prioritized? If so, please reach out to support@valtio.net and let us know.
  • How do I get started with Valtio?
    The platform is designed to be intuitive and self-service. After activating your free trial, head over to the Library to design your workflow templates. Create standard forms, agreements, and document types that will be collected during your onboarding flows. Bundle together items to form a checklist of tasks that you would like users to complete during onboarding. That's it! - You now have a repeatable and standard onboarding workflow. Start sending requests for users to complete your onboarding workflows and Valtio will handle the rest. Still need help or want to save time? Reach out and well be happy to help set you up.
  • Can I see a demo of the platform?
    Absolutely! We'd be happy to walk you through the platform and learn more about your specific onboarding workflows. Book a free consultation here.
  • Do you provide a free trial?
    Yes, we offer a 7-day free trial on all our plans to give you and your team an opportunity to explore the capabilities of the platform. During the trial you'll be able use all the feature of the plan and will be able to send up to 10 free requests. Once your trial expires, you can upgrade to a paid plan to continue sending more requests. All onboarding workflows created during the trial will be saved.
  • Can you help me setup my account?
    Of course! Depending on your needs, we offer product walkthroughs and trainings, email and chat support as well as professional services for more complex setups. - Every plan comes with a free 30 min walkthrough. - Growth and Scale plans include one 60 minutes team training session. - Every plan includes support at different service levels. - Ultimate plans include 5 professional services hours of a dedicate solutions expert to understand your specific business needs and implement your workflows. Additional hours available upon request and for an additional fee.
  • What is Valtio?
    Valtio is workflow automation and document collection platform that helps businesses streamline their onboarding processes. Valtio can help your front-office teams to capture and close leads, onboard new clients and track renewals. The platform can also support your back-office teams and internal processes. Valtio workflows support document collection, forms, electronic signatures, and consent capture. We plan to add identity verification, credit checks, background checks, bank linking, and payment collection in the near future.
  • How much does it cost?
    We believe strongly in aligning values and incentives. This is why Valtio's pricing scales based on usage and we only charge for successfully completed requests. This way we earn our fees when your business successfully captures value. We offer subscription plans to meet a wide range of businesses and organizations. - Small teams and individual can get started with our pay-as-you-go Essentials plan with no monthly fees (some limitations apply) - Growing businesses can leverage our Growth plan with a low monthly subscription plus usage fees, to remove all limits and unlock custom branding - Large organizations can take advantage of lower volume pricing with our Scale plan. - Our Ultimate plan is for enterprises that need a fully guided experience to unsure a successful launch.
  • Do you offer discounts?
    Yes, we offer discounts for 501(c)(3) organizations and through our referral program in the form of an attractive commission. Please reach out to us for more details.
  • Is there a minimum commitment?
    All our standard plans (Essentials, Growth, Scale) are month-to-month and you can cancel at time. Cancellations process at the end of your currently monthly billing cycle. Please keep in mind that you will still be responsible for usage based charges for any requests completed even after your cancellation. You may cancel pending requests to ensure that you are not billed for those requests.
  • Is my data encrypted?
    Yes, all platform data is encrypted both in-transit and at rest. - Data in-transit is encrypted with 128-bit TLS 1.2 - Data at-rest is encrypted with 256-bit AES-GCM
  • How do I reset my password?
    Valtio doesn't utilize the traditional username and password log in mechanism, instead it leverages what is known as Passwordless authentication. This is a log in mechanism where a new unique code is generate on each log in attempt that is sent to either your email or your phone number (via text message). This helps avoid issues with stolen passwords and hacked user accounts. Best of all, there are no passwords to reset!
  • Do you sell my data?
    Valtio is absolutely committed to protecting your privacy and will never sell your data (or metadata) to a 3rd-party company. Please read more about our Privacy Policy here.
  • Where is data stored?
    Valtio stores data in cloud storage solutions hosted in premium cloud providers. Our cloud providers are selected based on their commitment to cybersecurity, availability and operational excellence. Data is stored where in the region where our customers are located to fully comply with GDPR regulations.
  • Why do I need to set a security PIN?
    Security PINs are another layer of protection that Valtio uses to secure access to data on the platform. Areas of the platform that may contain sensitive data about your business or your customers are protected behind a pin lock that activates after a few minutes of inactivity. This helps protect against unsuspecting snooping and acts a fail safe against compromised account logins.
  • Is Valtio secure?
    Security is in our DNA. Valtio was founded by cybersecurity practitioners with decades of experience securing banking, healthcare and public service applications. We take security very seriously. While DIY onboarding integrations across multiple tools often leave your business exposed to security issues, the Valtio platform takes a multi-layered approach to ensure the security and safety of your business and customer data. With a consistent and thorough security framework, you can rest assured that even the most sensitive data is securely collected and stored on your behalf.   • Can I create and manage multiple onboarding flows in a single account?
    Absolutely. While there are limits in the Essentials plan to the number of flows that you can create, all our other plans allow you to create as many onboarding template items, bundles and workflows as you need.
  • What if I receive incorrect or invalid documents?
    Each onboarding workflow can be configured to require a review and approval step. This gives your team an opportunity to review submissions, request changes if necessary and ultimately accept and finalize submissions.
  • Are there examples or templates I can use?
    We're working hard to build a library of public examples and industry-specific workflow templates to help you get started even faster. Stay tuned for more updates soon!
  • What types of documents can I collect from clients?
    While Valtio has a library of document templates to choose from to help you get started, you can define additional document templates to your exact needs. Simple provide a name and a description to guide your clients through selecting the right documents. The platform will allow clients to scan and upload files in PNG, JPEG and PDF formats.
  • Can I prefill data before sending out a request?
    Yes, you can create draft requests and edit any of the form fields before sending a request to a recipient. You can also control whether the recipient will be able to edit the data you entered or not.
  • Can I collect legally binding e-signatures?
    Yes, Valtio provides a legally binding electronic signature solution that you can use to execute contracts, can be presented as evidence in court, and hold up to legal scrutiny in most jurisdictions in the U.S. and the EU.   • How do I view documents submitted by my clients?
    The platform offers two different ways to locate documents submitted by a particular clients. You may search the name or email of the client in the Requests section to find all prior requests completed by that person. The details panel of each completed request will show a list of the documents submitted and allow you open those documents. Alternatively, you may search the name of email of the client in the Accounts section to locate that client's account. The account details page will provide you a list of all the documents submitted by that client across all prior requests.
  • Can I add my company logo?
    Yes! We support adding your organization's logo to all email communications that go out to your customers as well as the onboarding portal that your customers will use to work through the onboarding tasks.
  • What are Bundles?
    A Bundle is a checklist of items that you would like a user to complete as part of an onboarding workflow. This allows you to request that users complete, sign, upload or consent to multiple documents in a single request. It also allows users to work on items individually, save their progress, and continue later if they need more time or need to seek more information.
